About this Course

Join this virtual Sustainability Session lunch & learn, exploring a variety of sustainability topics relevant to households and neighbourhoods of the University Neighborhoods Association. Our fifth Sustainability Session brings guest speaker Lindsay Coulter, David Suzuki's former Queen of Green and expert eco-friendly educator, to talk about how to shop smarter to lower your environmental footprint and reveal her “must have” ingredients for your pantry to create nontoxic personal care products and home cleaners. She’ll also share her favourite brands and how to read labels to understand what’s on the inside. Bring two cosmetic or cleaner products from your bathroom or kitchen to decode! Following Lindsay's presentation, we welcome an open discussion and Q&A, with an aim to connect, share resources, and network with other sustainability champions in our neighbourhood communities.
