About this Course

Japanese Box. Make a beautiful box using an historical Japanese method. Beautiful decorative paper and bookcloth are used to finish a box roughly 8" x 3" x 2" with a pair of bone clasp closures. The box's historical purpose was to house a worthy gift or precious items. No prior bookbinding or box making experience is necessary. All materials and tools provided.
