About this Course

Join us for a guided walk through the Xʷc̓ic̓əsəm | Centre for Indigenous Land-Based Education, Research and Wellness ! We invite you to join us on this walk to learn and unlearn what you know about sustainable food systems—including traditional knowledge around Indigenous-led food growing, medicinal plants, and ongoing initiatives around Indigenous food sovereignty. For more information about the Xʷc̓ic̓əsəm Garden, please visit: https://indigenous.landfood.ubc.ca. Please arrive at Wesbrook Community Centre lobby BEFORE 10:15 am if you would like to walk together to the Xʷc̓ic̓əsəm Garden. We shall leave Wesbrook Community Centre 10:15 am to be at UBC Farm Entrance by 10:30am to start our guided tour.
