We welcome everyone who is interested in taking part in an interactive, facilitated, multi-media discussion in a safe environment involving people of all backgrounds and all ages (16+) who want to meet their neighbours, initiate friendships as well as strengthen community bonds. Register to receive program updates. Some examples of upcoming topics: - What is the role of humour in society? - What are the positives and negatives of social media? - What is the purpose of the arts in society? - Urbanization: Discuss the implications of rapid urbanization, such as housing affordability, infrastructure development, and environmental sustainability, on society. - Criminal Justice Reform: Discover possible reforms to the criminal justice system, including alternatives to incarceration, police accountability measures, and rehabilitation programs. - Aging Population: Explore the challenges and opportunities associated with an aging population, including healthcare needs, and retirement security.
