About this Course

Transit Education For Seniors: Excursion to Jericho Beach Park (BEST and VCWA) Limited spots available for the Transit Bus Ride Excursion and priority given to folks who can attend both the education workshop and the excursion. The workshop session includes: 12:30 pm – 1:30pm (Wesbrook Community Centre): 60-minute interactive workshop by BEST on using transit to access green spaces. Transit Bus Ride Excursion to Jericho Beach Park and Trishaw Rides (after workshop) 1:45pm – 2:15 pm: A guided group transit ride Excursion to Jericho Beach Park 2:15pm – 3:45pm: Trishaw Rides in Jericho Beach Park in collaboration with Vancouver Cycling Without Age 3:45pm – 4:30pm: Transit bus ride back to Wesbrook Community Centre This workshop is funded by Translink, in collaboration with Better Environmentally Sound Transportation (BEST) and Vancouver Cycling Without Age (VCWA).
