About this Course

The UNA Sustainability Team welcomes you to the first “Sustainability Session”. Join this virtual lunch & learn, exploring a variety of sustainability topics relevant to households and neighbourhoods of the University Neighborhoods Association. Our first Sustainability Session brings guest speaker Ralph Wells, UBC Community Energy Manager. The first part of this session will feature Ralph, sharing his knowledge on green building standards on campus, energy and emissions recommendations, and resources available to residents at the household level to contribute to Climate Action, and the Climate Action Plan 2030. The second part of this session will be an open discussion and Q&A with Ralph, with an aim to connect, share resources, and network with other sustainability champions in our neighbourhood communities.
