About this Course

Learn about food sustainability by immersing yourself in the landscape of a working certified organic farm and research, community and teaching hub at this free guided tour of the UBC Farm. The UBC Farm provides a unique site for learning about global issues in food systems in the context of a 60-acre certified organic farm. Tours bring visitors through the dynamic farm site while exploring how they are linked to issues globally in biodiversity, education, sustainable agriculture, food systems, Indigenous territory and food sovereignty, and innovative research. This tour is free for UNA residents, but registration in advance is required to attend.
