About this Course

This session is designed especially for newcomers and will include a guided tour beginning at the Old Barn Community Centre. The tour will begin at the Old Barn Community Centre and guide participants through the vibrant Main Mall area of the University of British Columbia campus. Along the way, we will explore key attractions, community resources, and museums, including stops near the Alma Mater Society of UBC Vancouver (AMS) and Irving K. Barber Learning Centre buildings. The tour will conclude back at the Old Barn Community Centre. After the tour, participants are invited to continue socializing over a casual lunch at Open Kitchen. Please note that lunch is optional, and each participant will be responsible for covering the cost of their own meal. We look forward to welcoming you and helping you get to know the UBC community!
