Clamshell Box. This box is commonly used to encase a book for safekeeping from moisture, bugs and dust. It can safekeep other items, too. Also known as drop back or solander box, students will transform it into a book like structure to shelve, store or hide items in plain sight. No prior bookbinding or box making experience is necessary. All materials and tools provided.
