About this Course

Join the UNA and your community members for our Fall Community Yard Sale on Saturday, November 18 from 10am-1pm at Wesbrook Community Centre. Shop for gently used items including winter clothes and sports equipment, books, art, household goods, and more. Bring your reuseable mug for a free cup of coffee and tea. Table registration will open on October 18: UNA Members: $20 Non-UNA Members: $25 ------ UNA Yard Sales are one way that the UNA builds community and reduces environmental and economic waste. Yard sales encourage community members to reduce unnecessary consumption and waste by reusing and extending the life of material goods. The more hands an item passes through, the more environmental and economic value it provides. Reusing items keeps materials out of the landfills and oceans, and decreases costs associated with purchasing and disposing of multiple, new items.
