About this Course

Lori Snyder is an Indigenous Metis herbalist and educator with a deep knowledge of wild, medicinal and edible plants that grow in everyday spaces. In celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Day, meet Lori at Wesbrook Community Centre for a walk in the neighbourhood and forest to learn about the wild food and medicine that grows all around us. Through Lori’s eyes, our immediate surroundings take on a new life and offer a wealth of untapped nutritional and ecological resources.
