About this Course

UBC Emergency Management (UBC EM) wants to help UNA residents prepare for emergencies. The UNC EM team invites you to join a personal preparedness seminar tailored specifically for residents of UBC neighbourhoods. This will cover an overview of local hazards, the importance of making a plan and how to develop one. The presentation will also cover how to build a personal preparedness kit or what to look for when buying one. In addition, the UBC EM team will set up a booth/table with information for residents to pick up and engage in conversation prior to or after the presentation. This is a free seminar. Registration is required.
